B140M Generative amplifier

Featuring one BluOS zone and four channels of amplification, the B140M enables Moodsonic’s soundscaping platform, alongside networked music streaming, advanced audio processing, and speaker amplification in a single, compact platform. With support for low impedance and constant voltage (70V / 100V) speaker systems, the B140M delivers a unique all-in-one solution for deploying generative soundscapes across commercial environments without the need to assemble multiple devices.

The B140M features a patented PoE power architecture that delivers up to 180 watts to the plenum-rated amplifier while providing full network connectivity over standard Ethernet cabling. This approach reduces installation complexity, lowers infrastructure requirements, and allows greater flexibility in device placement compared to traditional powered amplifiers. By fusing together Moodsonic soundscaping, streaming, switching, DAC, amplification, and local content storage into a single unit, the B140M offers a reduced footprint and a more cost-effective, streamlined deployment model for soundscaping projects.

Designed for decentralized hub-and-spoke audio architectures, the B140M reduces cable runs, simplifies system design, and allows soundscapes to be tailored to individual spaces. For deployments where centralized equipment is required for all or select zones, The B140M can also be rack mounted and used as a standard BluOS-enabled streaming amplifier, offering flexibility across system designs.

The B140M is plenum rated and supports free-standing, surface-mounted, or rack-mounted installation, enabling flexible placement throughout commercial spaces. Built-in local music storage eliminates the need for an external NAS, while integration with Bluesound Professional’s business music partners enables centralized music management through the BluOS platform. With the included USB mic array and on-device processing, soundscapes generated on the B140M can be fully adaptive to real-time changes in noise levels, occupancy, and activity type and provide actionable analytics about the acoustic environment via the Moodsonic Insights application.
