"Living Acoustics" wins SMPS New York award

Together with AKRF, we developed “Living Acoustics.” The approach treats sound in buildings as a connected system – where soundscaping, acoustic treatments, and biophilic design work together as complementary layers.

So, it was brilliant to see their Living Acoustics campaign recently win a 2026 SMPS New York Award of Excellence for its innovative approach and measurable results. As part of the campaign, we helped AKRF develop AIA training for architects, host industry events, and bring Living Acoustics to life at their Manhattan office and in client projects.
