TED2026 is live in Vancouver this week – with talks, the debates, and a renowned concentration of new ideas.
The Listening Room is a dedicated space for restoration and decompression, created for attendees who need to step away and reset. Powered by Bluesound Professional's hardware, the installation brings Moodsonic's generative, nature-based soundscapes into the Vancouver Convention Centre. The soundscapes shift throughout the day and adapt to the conditions in the room — so the experience is never fixed, never looping, always responsive to the moment.
It sits well alongside TED2026's 'All of Us' theme, which frames this year's programme around connection, collective experience, and what it means to truly be present with one another. Julian Treasure, one of this year's guest curators, has assembled a programme of speakers exploring how we listen – to nature, to each other, and to the world around us.
